I am postdoctoral researcher at the Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences (CIRES)
in the laboratory of Dr. Noah Fierer. My research seeks
to harness the power of modern molecular methods to broadly investigate how assemblages of microbes (archaea, bacteria, fungi, and other microbial eukaryotes) function in their
environment, change across different spatial scales, and interact with one another in terrestrial ecosystems. I also strive to make connections between my work and its potential
application in areas related to the environment, sustainability, and human health.
